Barnardos wish to recruit 2 Fulltime Social Workers to work on behalf of the Child Death Review Group for a 3 month fixed term contract. Part time applications will also be considered. 

Location: Child Death Review Offices, Dublin 2. 

The purpose of these roles is to support the work of the Child Death Review Group in the review of case files of children who have died in care, in aftercare or those who were known to child services. 

A relevant professional 3rd level qualification, for example: Social Work, Social Care, Child Care and a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience essential.

Experience and understanding of the care system in Ireland. 

Salary: €43,132 - €56,888 LSI (Fulltime) Depending on qualifications and experience.

REPORTING TO: Chief Executive Officer or nominated representative.

SALARY SCALE: As per Department of Health and Children pay scales

WORKING HOURS: 35 hours per week

WORKING WEEK: Hours of attendance will be determined by the CEO. From time to time you may be required to work outside of the normal hours.

LOCATION: Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin, Dublin 12. During the course of your employment the Hospital or any part of it may be relocated to another site either on a temporary or permanent basis. Should this happen you may be required to transfer to the centre's new location.
