SWIFC - Social Workers In Foster Care PDF Print E-mail

Mission Statement:  To provide a forum which will offer Social Workers in the area of Foster Care a professional voice to express relevant perspectives and to advocate on behalf of children in Foster Care

Social Work Professionals working in fostering in Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Galway, Roscommon and Mayo have developed this special interest group which has provided a strong active link for social workers working in the foster care services, primarily in the HSE West.

While the group have been meeting over several years efforts are in train to expand the group and we now have new members in Dublin, Tipperary, Cork, Clare, Longford, Wicklow, Waterford, Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Laois, and West Meath.
