The organising group for the Dublin event for World Social Work Day (WSWD) decided to use a theme from the Global Social Work and Social Development Conference: "Social Work and Social Development: Environmental & Community Sustainability - Global Challenges and Creative Solutions".
The theme of "Social Justice, Rights and Equality" is a way for social workers to look at homelessness in relation to a vulnerable client group.
The Global conference is due to be hosted in Ireland from 4th - 7th July 2018.
