Event Info: This session is designed to introduce professionals to a framework that considers family relationships and the needs of children around family visits using an attachment and trauma informed lens. It will consider how best to support parents and foster carers to improve the quality of children’s visits with their families.

This session is intended for individuals and teams who wish to begin working towards a more supportive and holistic approach to family visits. It will outline the first steps for professionals to develop more collaborative, integrated support planning when dealing with the complexities of family systems for children in care. 

This training is open to all professionals working with children in care, their families and foster carers; including social workers, psychologists,  social care workers, fostering link workers, guardians ad litem and solicitors involved in care and access proceedings.
