  • Independent Social Worker since 2020, prior to that I worked for Dublin City Council Local Authority including Principal Social Worker for 16 years.
  • Currently supervising Social Workers and Homeless Staff in Local Authorities & HSE which includes Casework Supervision, Continuing Professional Development, Self-Refection and Social Work related guidance and support.
  •  I have completed Special Guardianship Assessments (UK) & Fostering Assessments and financial assessments.
  • I am part of an EU Semester Working Group for the ESN (European Social Network) since 2021.

Qualifications: B Soc Sc, MSW, MSc (Mental Health), MII approved Mediator, CIPD Foundation Certificate in People Practice

Professional registrations: CORU, IASW and NAGALRO

Extra skills:

  • Published an article in the International Association of Forensic Nurses in 2013 called “Housing Preferences of Irish Forensic Mental Health Services Users on Moving into the Community”.
  • Qualified as a Mediator (2010) with the Mediators’ institute of Ireland and have worked as a Mediator for Dublin City Council for a number of years.
